Our main recommendation is that you stay on the Eastern side of the island to avoid long travel times for the two days. Also we wanted to provide you with some general info when travelling to Bali.

The black-sand beaches and surf breaks of Keramas and Saba are right on the doorstep, while the area's quiet roads, coconut groves, and village ceremonies offer a pace of life that feels a world away from the bustle of Seminyak or Canguu.

Insurance:
Travel Insurance is highly recommended when travelling to Bali. Be sure to get the correct insurance if you plan on hiring and driving around on scooters during your stay as most basic insurance plans don’t cover this.
Passport Requirements:
Must have at least 6 months of validity from your date of arrival and at least 2 blank pages.
Visa:
All Australians need a tourist visa for visits up to 30 days. You can apply for an e-Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) on the Official Indonesian e-Visa Website https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/ (approx. AUD 50) or purchase a standard VOA at the airport counter upon landing. This is applicable for New Zealand and US travellers too.
Proof of Onward Travel:
You must show a return or onward flight ticket out of Indonesia.
All Indonesia Declaration Form:
Must be completed online via the All Indonesia Website (https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/) within 72 hours of your flight. This combines your customs and health declarations into one QR code.
Bali Tourist Levy:
A fee of IDR 150,000 (approx. AUD 15) must be paid before or upon arrival in Bali. This can be processed online via the Love Bali portal https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id/

Transport - Wedding Day
We ask that you make your own way to the wedding venue. It can be difficult to get Gojek or Taxi’s later at night on this side of the island so we will be arranging buses home for our guests at set times throughout the night in order to get back to their accomodation safely.
8pm - if you need to get the kids back to the hotel.
11pm - If you want to have an early night
1am - For the night owls
We will send out a booking form closer to the date to get an idea of numbers for each time slot.
Getting around - General
Download the ride share apps - Gojek or Grab. You can link your bank account to this and use it as you would an Uber app. Unless you have airport transfers to your hotel, we recommend going to the Gojek office at the airport and booking the service from there. Alternatively go to Bluebird which is the official taxi service. Don’t use a taxi unless it is a Bluebird taxi.
If you would like a personal driver + car to use throughout your stay please enquire with us and we can ensure you get a reliable one at a good rate.
Please note that very few drivers and taxis have baby seats, so we would recommend bringing your own if you are uncomfortable travelling in a vehicle without one.
